For some kids, coming into a new class setting can be intimidating especially when you don’t see anyone like you. We have to remember to encourage our players and let them know that the world is full of different kinds of people but it should never take away from your confidence. It is you & the soccer ball!
When a child steps on the field we want them to feel powerful and confident! Soccer has a way of developing motivated players and breaking kids out of their comfort zone. Sometimes even parents are surprised by how much progress their child has made after one consistent season of classes.
We have to give the players room to grow, to fail and to succeed or else they will never know the greatness that they are capable of! For the young players who need a little inspiration, don't forget to join us for WSC’s day out.
The Gotham FC x Angel City game will take place on August 28th, 2022 at 5:00pm at the Red Bull Arena & we are encouraging all parents and players to come! This is a great opportunity for the players to see a real soccer game and have fun with the WSC family. We will sit together as a team, and cheer on the amazing players.
